Last time this year that we’re training in Saas Fee. It’s been really windy the past week but we could train in the course the last 3 days. The first day we hiked up to the course with the Spanish team. It’s about a 20 minute hike and we hiked the start all day on 3600m so after that you appriciate the lift even more. A lot of world cup sbx team were here so the training looked like a FIS race. Tomorrow is our last day here because after (hopefully) a great session we’re heading to the Dutch Snowboard Opening in Les Deux Alps!! Can’t wait!

After a small break at home it was time to train in Saas Fee. Like last time we were very unlucky with the weather the first two days. Two days of dry training and boredom past till we could go up. With -30 degrees Ceslius, blue sky and a good course we had intense training sessions. This was followed by lunch and core stability trainings, waxing, video analysis, making food, press and bed… This ritual was repeated for the next 3 days. Sunday was  storm day but no problem for us, we didn’t go up anyway (resting day). After the day of storm it meant massive powder riding for us and again we had a clean blue sky… INSAINE!

The training in the course was set to a minimum because the Swiss team arrived. When they are training there are no females allowed on the track. Instead we did technical training and speed training. This resulted in a record of 109,3 km/h captured by our new Polar watches GPS-system.

Last friday a new artikle / intervieuw was posted on Nu.nl  Nu.nl is a dutch news website witch has it’s own sports section. Check out our intervieuw:
