29th October we met up with the marketing team from Seat in SnowWorld Zoetermeer.  The whole crew was ready to try snowboarding for the first time! A super nice 2 hour session later everybody made their first turns!! After we showed them a little bit of our skillz it was time to check out our new Seat Freetrack! Brand new and ready to rip up the kilometers!!

The afternoon program…Make your ouwn Gluwein. We must say we had a great touch for it as our bottle came the tastiest and the best ;)

Hereby we want to thank Friedo from Seat very much and we wish him all the best with his new job at Seat International in Barcelona

Saas Fee one of most popular glaciers from Europe. So no surprise that we were not alone on this beautiful glacier. Loads of ski and snowboard teams from all over the world are preparing here for this important season.
It was the first time since last season that we could ride and train together and it’s super nice. With our new assistant coach Joey de Jong we get even more technical tips to change our riding for the better.
There is a nice snowboardcross course here whitch we can train in tomorrow. We’re staying till friday and hoping for some more nice weather.

With Superfeet as our new sponsor our feet are better protected against injuries. So no more heel lift, heel bruises and tired feet.  Also the contact from our feet to our board is a lot more direct. In boardercross we take split second decisions Our reaction needs to get to the edge of our board as fast as possible.

With snowboading, biking and hiking our feet get a lot to endure. Every sport strains your feet in a different angle and way. The Superfeet soles correct and absorbe the shock of each movement to your feet and body. Its better for all your joints and let’s you go on for ever.

The rain finally stopped and we could enjoy the slopes and little course of Cerro Cathedral. A lot of teams joined us up there to prepare for the continental cup.

We took a super nice bus ride with the Austrian team up to San Martin de los Andes, the place of the World Cup. CHECK out the super nice pictures in the photo album section!

Eventually the Continental cup got placed after the World cup because of the weather conditions. So the first time I could ride in a course this year was the official training of the World Cup. It went well, it was a small and easy course with an explosive start. But because it was an easy course, it was hard to find the fastest line as other riders were also perfecting their riding. My first run was delayed a lot but when I started I rode a pretty good run but it just wasn’t fast enough. In my second run my rhythm in the first section was bad and I couldn’t keep it strait and I fell. That sucked big time!

The continental cup also got cancelled so no time for pay back…YET!
